“Good business is about collaboration, generosity, know-how and resilience. By sharing our expertise, we not only help others, we also help ourselves.
“The innovation and creativity of small business owners around the world has always inspired me and I love to see them thrive. Success is reliant on many things, not least practical know-how and mental resilience. My aim is to offer resources that support both these key elements.
“In our global marketplace good communication is also fundamental and translators are often the unsung heroes of successful international ventures. That’s why Micro Oiseau offers its guides in a growing number of languages as a showcase for talented professional translators.”
Part of an entrepreneurial and humanitarian tradition – York, UK
Often referred to as the ancient ‘Capital of the North’, Micro Oiseau is based in York, North Yorkshire in the United Kingdom. A city of Media Arts, York is a member of UNESCO Creative Cities Network and we love visitors. York’s history encompasses the Romans and Vikings, we’re home to famous philanthropists, inventors, artists and two internationally respected universities. Our medieval, Tudor, Georgian and Victorian architecture makes us ‘cat nip’ to the curious with bags to see and do in our museums and attractions.
Twinned with Dijon in France and Münster in Germany, York is also a City of Sanctuary and the UK’s first Human Rights City.
