I really enjoy learning languages. Most of my relatives on my father side spoke were Russian Orthodox and spoke Russian. Sadly, I believe I’m the last Meeko family member on my father’s side to speak and understand Russian because all my older Meeko family members have passed away.
I have wide ranging interests and have been an online researcher and a translator with Unbabel to ensure that the Russian, German and Spanish translation matched with the English with the AI versions.
I have contributed to Minecraft to translate Minecraft video game coding into Russian. I also volunteer my time as a proofreader for Russian, German and Spanish for www.lingosaur.com, checking documents that other translators translated and rate how well they did with their translations. I also look to see if they made any spellings errors. I have also contributed translations to OwnCloud and Corejooma using Transiflex translation software.
Currently, I am a contributing translator on the R Project for statistical computing. R is a free software environment for statistical computing and graphics. It compiles and runs on a wide variety of UNIX platforms, Windows and MacOS.
I live in Walnutport, Pennsylvania in the US and have two daughters named Alexis and Zoe. In my free time I enjoy music, foreign films and science fiction.
