A native Italian speaker, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in European languages and literature. I am also a freelance translator specialising in the medical area.
Studying foreign languages and learning about new cultures has always fascinated me, and is why I chose to study languages at university.
After graduating, I enjoyed expanding my English knowledge by working as an Au Pair in the UK for 10 months, after which I got back to my first love: translating English texts into Italian.
My love of language began as a teenager trying to grasp the meaning of song lyrics. I tried to improve my English by learning as many songs as possible and translating them into Italian. Now, I am I delighted to make a job out of my passion by helping people around the world break through language barriers.

In my professional translation career, my main goal is to always help people who do not speak or understand English very well to achieve the best understanding, especially of what is important to them.
I am currently a volunteer translator for the global language charity Translators Without Borders that supports global communication.
